EPCOT: The Tori Gate

On New Year’s Day, I thought it would be a good idea to head out to EPCOT and shoot a couple of spots during the sunset. As is typical of me, I completely underestimated the capacity of people to clog the roads on a holiday. My original plan was to go the night before, at least until I remembered it was New Year’s Eve.

As you can expect, most every site that I wanted to photograph was covered with hordes of people. This was one of the few spots I could shoot that wasn’t surrounded by tourists. It’s probably not a bright idea to go to a tourist destination and expect to get shots without tourists in the way, but that’s how I am.
